Swiss adventures day 1

We arrived at Bradley International Airport in CT feeling relaxed and excited for our trip. Moments later we found out that our flight, scheduled to leave at 12:30, was delayed until 2:15 due to morning weather conditions in Atlanta. (Our connecting flight was scheduled to leave around 4:45 so we were cutting it close!)

When we landed, we pushed through the airport as quickly as we could to make it to our connecting flight to Switzerland. Jakob bounced around in the snugli while Danny and I walked quickly from gates A to E. Luckily we made it just in time to get checked and loaded on to the plane. There was only one more question to worry about: Did our luggage make it? YES!!!

We checked out the car rentals and drove to the train station where we were scheduled to meet Sister Rogers. Apparently no one was expecting to see her as soon as we did because she had to come get us as we were looking for her.

At the station, Danny's mom handed out much wanted American food to the elders and exchanged packages to be delivered to their families in the states. The elders were grateful for the costco muffins and soda drinks.

The rest of the day was spent driving to Bad Bellingen, Germany, where we planned to sleep for three nights, shopped at the nearest grocery store, and planned to go to the mission presidents home in Zurich, Switzerland for a testimony meeting later that same night.

The first night wasn't so bad seeing as how we were ALL tired from lack of sleep.

OUR SWISS ADVENTURES BEGIN...
