Jakob loves being outside. (definitely a Danny trait) His favorite thing right now is pushing his little black shovel around the open driveway. It's a fun game for him...not so much fun for me. I hate watching his pudgy little hands turn red from the bitter cold.
We played outside for 30 minutes, probably 20 minutes too long on this particularly cold day. When it was time to go back inside, Jakob cried and threw his famous tantrum. He was eager to get back outside-so much that he kept handing me his jacket and shoes, pleading for me to take him out again. Luckily a few toys distracted him long enough to forget what he was upset about.
I guess I need to figure out some indoor activities this winter. Any suggestions?
