We have been thoroughly enjoying our 75-80 degree weather. We got out the kiddie pool and water toys, and ate a few popsicles too! It's just the beginning of a great summer.
I must say, Jakob LOVES his trucks!
Jakob was being a good problem solver by putting the two little trucks in the back of the dump truck and then used the dump truck to push his other "truck."
Jakob loves our neighbor's dog Muggs
Jakob and Muggs are the best of friends. When we go outside to play, Jakob climbs up to our neighbor's door and waits until he can hear Muggs. Once he hears the dog, he starts talking really loud or screams to get his attention. At that point Muggs starts whimpering and barking until he is let outside. They've got the routine down pretty well!
For a snack on this particular day, Jakob would take a bite of his cracker and then give Muggs a bite. I was surprised how well Muggs reacted to this. He allowed Jakob to feed him the cracker without forcing it out of his hands.
Jakob is still a little rough while petting him. He grabs at his fur and pulls his curly tail. Jakob use to hit or kick Muggs, but since we've tackled that issue at home with him hitting me he's been much better about it.
