American Fork Canyon, October Conference weekend, 2006
We took a drive between General Conference sessions to bask in the beauty of Fall. It's always inspiring to be in the mountains, surrounded by hundreds of acres of color. It is the second thing I miss about Utah, next to seeing family of course.
Fall is my absolute favorite time of year: crisp autumn mornings, jackets for snuggling, scenic drives, apple cider, and the list goes on. Fortunately for us, Fall is HUGE in Connecticut. Some of the MUST DO'S include apple picking, homemade apple cider (and cider doughnuts-and for the "true at heart", cider hot dogs), fall florals: mums, apple fritters, fall festivals, pumpkin picking, scenic drives, and much MUCH more. I love it!
BUT....I find it hard to compare the "mountainous" beauty of Connecticut to the MOUNTAINS in Utah. Both have a unique kind of beauty.
Who can resist this beauty?
