Actually, it's more like if he wants the toy Molly is playing with he will find something to trade her for it.
Sometimes I wonder about his strategy, though, because Molly usually plays with rattles, stuffed animals, or "unwanted" toys laying on the floor, but when Jakob sees her playing with said toys all-of-a-sudden HE wants that particular toy, and willingly trades her one of his choo-choo's or dinosaurs or something he would normally be more interested in playing with for the "unwanted" toy Molly finds amusing.
Do I sense a bit of jealousy?
At least he makes a trade, right?
