I can't think of a better way to start off the fall season than by picking apples in an orchard.
The day was cool, the sun was bright, and the kids had a blast carrying their bag of apples ready for purchase. Not only that, but the cider doughnuts and the wagon ride proved to be a huge hit as well!
I sure do love this time of year. The bugs are few and far between, the humidity is an old friend, and the cool weather makes it great for layering! And, my favortie thing of all is watching the leaves begin their colorful transformation- I have noticed splashes of fall color all around and I realize it is only a matter of time before we reach the peak of the season.
