Hebron Maple Festival

The Hebron Maple Festival is one of the very first local festivals that we attended after moving to Connecticut.  It's also a personal favorite because of the interest in harvesting your very own maple syrup.  It's on the bucket list of things to do because it's so darn easy, right?   

 Ha ha.  Not so much. 

But Danny talks about doing this every year and then every year after we attend the festival we hit ourselves for missing the syrup season yet again.  Hopefully one of these years we'll get on board with it.  

Jakob was in love with the beautiful huskies.  I don't love watching their fur float in the wind--because of their multiple layers of fur--but Jakob really enjoyed spending time with the dogs, stroking their soft fur, touching their wet noses and listening to the them bark and play with one another.  He is mesmerized by all things DOG!!

Alison was with us--as we were taking care of her and Casey while mom was away--and enjoyed an extra pair of hands and entertainment for the kids.  We just love the D's!!
