Birthday Bash

Turning 25 definitely feels different. I was thinking about all of the things that have happened this year and I've realized that my life truly has changed. I no longer teach second grade at Southland; I gave birth to a sweet baby boy who is absolutely wonderful; my awesome husband graduated with his masters and found a job; we moved to Connecticut through hope and faith that everything would work out for us. Wow...what huge changes we have experienced!

For my birthday, Jakob gave me the gift of sleep. He slept in until 6:00 this morning! I woke up refreshed and feelin' good, which I haven't felt in a really long time.

Danny's present is coming in spurts: first he made pizza, which he is the best at, and then he is planning to take me to New York at the end of December with his boss and family. I can't wait. I've always wanted to go and now I get to go in a couple of weeks. Yay!

Thanks to everyone who posted a comment on the blog or sent a birthday card and/or gift. I especially loved that many of my friends and family called to wish me a happy birthday. It was so nice to hear from you all. It turned out to be a really great day!

I'm glad you had a good day. Can you believe how old we are getting? Time seems to be going faster and faster each year.
