The first snowfall of the year
We had our first major snow storm today and boy was it a BIG one. For the past three days Connecticut has been preparing for the big hit by giving a play by play update on its progress. It finally hit this afternoon around 2:00, but before the storm arrived most of the elementary schools had announced that they were closed for the day; there were other companies and community gatherings that were canceled as well, even though there wasn't a single flake on the ground!
Apparently most Belcan/Pratt employees were keeping their eye on the storm and had planned to leave at the first sight of a snowflake...some people ended up leaving at 10:00 a.m. (so much for working today)

Guess when snow falls it really falls, eh?
that is so funny. If only they new what it was like in Utah today. We got about a foot in Tooele. No school cancelled.
We have had snow since last saturday, so a week now which is weird for Oregon. It is supposed to start raining again on Monday so hopefully it will all be gone by Tuesday or Wednesday. Looks like you guys had fun in your snow. You all look great!
