Thursday:
I was having contractions off and on all day yesterday. Around 4:00 I started getting the uncomfortable pain again, but after resting a bit it all went away.
Well, early this morning at 2:00 I woke up to the snow plow clearing off our road (remember the snow storm????) While awake I had one big contraction. Luckily it was only one and I was able to go back to sleep. At 3:45 I woke up to another contraction and then more contractions every 8 minutes or so. By 5:15 I decided just to get up, get showered, and see if I was truly having labor pains.
By 6:00 I was still having regular contractions. I was able to work through them so I knew they weren't very strong. By 7:00 I decided to call the Doctor to see if I needed to come in to the hospital. Well...because they were only 8 minutes apart and not very strong she told me to wait just a little more until they are closer together and increasing in pain. (which makes sense)
So we have been waiting for just that.
So far the contractions are about 7 minutes apart and on a scale from 1-10 the pain measures at a 5 to a 6. The contractions seem to be getting closer together and more painful, so I'm thinking in the next hour we will be at the hospital.
We'll keep you all posted!

Good luck!
YEA!!!
How would that be to have the baby ON your due date. I only did that once out of six kids. But then, that once was Amy, the second child and a girl. That's an interesting coincidence. We'll be waiting for the phone call. Love ya.
Good Luck! Can't wait to see that cute baby!
Congratulations on your new daughter and our new great grandchild #22.
I can't wait to see this brand new little baby. Good luck!
