Here's to hoping that this is the last week I am pregnant. I have to admit, it hasn't been too bad and I really don't have much to complain about right now; but since I know I'm in the final days, I am sooooooooo ready to be done. :)
In honor of this week I am going to share the progression of baby #2: Day by Day
Thursday:
I am officially 39 weeks today and it feels great! I just keep thinking that in the next week or so I will be able to move better, hopefully sleep more comfortably, hold Jakob without awkward pains, and finally paint my toenails without mulitple breaks! (just to name a few) Awww the sweet and simple things that pregnant moms miss.
I went to the Doctor for my stats today. Here's where I'm at: I am measuring normal at 39 and the baby is still doing great. She is just as active as she was three months ago...UGH! The surprising news was that I am dilated at 3 with 70% effacement. I didn't expect much from the checkup, since last week I was at a 1 and the cervix was just "soft,"so when I found out how much I've progressed I was a bit shocked-especially since I haven't had very many contractions.
Well, around 6:00 I started having regular contractions at 7 to 8 minutes apart. They lasted for about four hours then suddenly stopped. They were hardly painful, but still uncomfortable.
I'll keep you posted the next couple days. It's nearly baby-time!

Our thoughts and love are with you. I check everyday.
How exciting! Don't forget being able to sleep on your stomach, though. That's one that I really look forward to. :) I hope this last week (or so!) goes well for all of you.
Hope all goes well. Love ya
