Random Funnies

Here are a few laughs to get you through next week:

Jakob Funnies:
Jakob has been poking his head out from kitchen chairs, his shirt, the stair railing, and the small opening of the bumbo chair on top of his head saying, "I see woo!" It is hilarious! I didn't capture it on video, but just picture him saying "I see woo" as he runs around with the bumbo on his head.

Monkey see, monkey do

...again, Molly just wants to do what Jakob is doing: spinning and falling to the ground.

Mr. Potato Head is a cherished toy around here.  Remember this:

That was before watching Toy Story 1,2 and 3.
Now that Jakob has seen Mr. Potato head in action, he loves reenacting out parts of the movie:
-loading Mr. Potato with valuable objects (TS3)
-pretending to have "angry eyes" (TS3)
-using the tortilla that was suppose to be for dinner as Mr. Potato's body (TS3)

Recently he lost the privilege of  Mr. Potato Head for not staying in his bed at night; it didn't take long to find a replacement:

He's even got Molly doing it:

I've been proud of Jakob the past few weeks.  He's finally at the point of recognizing his letters and numbers.  Unfortunately we're still working on counting.
Jakob- "One, Two, One, Two,One, Six, Three.
At least he's got one and two down!

Molly Funnies:
Molly has taken a liking to her new phone.  She has plenty to talk about:

These days Molly is fascinated with ripping things apart.  She will sit on the floor for minutes on end shredding paper, tissue paper, even diaper wipes.  Her concentration is intense!  On a good day she will even throw the paper into the garbage....yes, she figured out the use of a garbage can-which reminds me, we still can't find our TV remote. What is up with kids throwing away TV remotes?  First Jakob, now Molly?

"Fire Truck Man" hats (in the words of Jakob) are a hot commodity in our house.  Thank goodness we have five of them!

And thank you grandma and grandpa for the recent gift.  I hope Molly treasures it forever!

Why do you have five fire man hats?

Good question. Our neighbor works for a fire station and thought Jakob might enjoy the plastic hats that they usually pass out to kids who visit on field trips and what not. The hats stick together so I'm sure when he thought he was grabbing a few, he didn't realize it was five. :) Plenty to go around, though.
