100 days of School

Molly's teacher asked the class to bring in 100 "somethings" that could be used to celebrate 100 days of school.  From penny's, to stickers, to rubber bands, it was pretty much up to her to find something that added to 100.  So she started counting her hair bows and sure enough, she had well over 100 to choose from.  :)

Molly put each hair bow into categories and then lined each of them up into groups of 10 until she had 100.  Pretty smart!  I found some ribbon to clip the hair bows for easier transfer from our house to school.  It was a fun activity for counting to 100, but also to see all the hair bows laying on the floor.  Many of which had special meaning (birthday, blessing day, dance recital).

The principal asked all the students to wear black and white.  Luckily I was able to pull something off for both kids......sometimes it's hard to come by those colors.  Even Sophia had something to wear. :)

The 100th day of school was a warm spring-ish day with lots of rain, so when Molly came home from school asking to play in it, I couldn't refuse.  Sophia loved joining in the fun and both girls had a blast getting wet, playing with umbrellas and shoveling puddles of water.
